GM (Government Motors) claim that the Volt gets 230 miles per gallon is one of the biggest lies a Government division as ever told. If you read the specs on the GM website under were it says that the Volt gets 230mph ,in the fine print, it says that the Volt uses 25 kwh per 100 miles. Some simple math will show what a lie the 230mph is.
First lets talk about how much energy the gas you put in to your car holds. I looked up this information on the Internet. I did not go out and do any test to find these numbers (to lazy). I found many different number they were between 33.33kwh & 39kwh. The main factor that is going to affect this number is the Octane in the fuel. I am going to use the lost number for the math here to give the Volt as much help as I can.
Next you have to find out the efficiency from the Power Plant all the way to the rear wheels of the Volt. This is very hard to find out. It can be very different from one place to the next. The Power Plants efficiency would depend on many different variables. Some examples would be how old the plant is, what type of fuel the plant uses (coal, gas, nuclear). Of course the electricity that is used at our house can come from many different plants. You are also going to loose efficiency from the power plant to the house, were the power enters the house to the wall socket you loose efficiency. Then you have the efficiency of the car itself. In my equation I am going to use 60% efficiency. I think that this is very generous efficiency and would really be much lower.
Now we have to establish the efficiency of the of the power plant in the car. Of course this depends on the car. The older the car the less efficient it is going to be. Some cars to day can be 25% to 30%. I used 15% to give the Volt as much help as I could. This will only be used to find out how many miles per kilowatt hours the power plant of the car gets.
To Find Miles Per Gallon of Gasoline in Volt Equation:
-33.33 kwh(kilowatt hours) per gallon of gasoline
-60% = .60 efficiency from power plant to rear wheels of car
-25 kwh per 100 miles or 4 miles per 1 kwh
-(4 x 33.33) x .60 = 79.99 mph(miles per gallon of gasoline)
So you see that the 230mph that GM (Government Motors) tells you is a load of crap. Now this is still pretty good gas millage if you are always using the batters. I do not know how what kind of gas millage the little engine on the Volts gets. There is also the efficiency of the Power Plants that you can not be sure about.

Governmnet & Marriage
Why are people in this country so abscessed with government legitimizing so many things? In many cases they do not even realize that they are. One of the best examples is with Marriage.
Many people do not consider there selves committed to each other, bound to each other, and responsible to each other until they sign that marriage certificate. Why is this? Why cant a man and a woman who love each other just sit together and tell each other that they want to spend the rest of there lives together and then work together to support each other and standby each other. Why do they need the governments blessing for them to be committed for better or worse.
The only reason that anyone should care weather the government recognizes there marriage is for tax purposes. Of course this should not be so because the 16 amendment should be abolished but that is another blog for another day.
Now if you are religious and your religion requires you to walk down an aisle and recite your voles in front of your priest this is a completely different matter. Or what ever your religion requires you to do for a union.
When I look at the way people act before they get married, while they are married, during and after a divorce and it is like they are always doing what the government says. They can not solidify there union until the government says so. They will not really work on there relationship unless the government makes them. Drug War in Mexico
The Drug Cartels in Mexico are fighting the Mexican Government. This war is spreading in to the US and the Cartel operates out of every major City in the US. There is one simple way to take care of this problem and that would be to LEGALIZE DRUGS!!!
Drugs are were these Cartels get just about all of there money and this money is what gives them the power to fight the Mexican Government. If the US would Legalize Drugs then they would loose there base for cash and so they would loose there power.
People are always going to do drugs and there is nothing we can ever do to stop it. If you make certain drugs illegal then you greatly increase the price of these drugs therefor creating huge profit margins for the large criminal organizations that take up the drug trade. Just look at prohibition. During Prohibition the criminal organizations took up distributing alcohol (with is a drug) because when the Government made alcohol illegal it made it extremely profitable.
In this country we spend who knows how many Billions of Dollars to fight this war on drugs and the illegal and prescription drug use just gets worse. Our jails are over crowded with none violent drug users that have not done any thing to hurt anyone else.
I also believe that making drugs illegal makes them much more attractive to young people. When kids start to rebel they are going to do things that they are told not to do. Drugs are considered so taboo and government fights them so hard it makes them that more enticing to young kids who are rebelling against what ever.
Why do we not just stop wasting all this time and money fighting this useless war on drugs and spend it on educating people on the effects of these drugs and how bad they are for you. There are plenty of studies out there that show education and counseling work much better and are much cheaper then jail.
Shannon (my older sister) do not give me this crap about "What about the Children". So often when some group of people are ready to take away freedom they start this what about the children crap. People trying change or get rid of our 2nd amendment use the same excuse.

All over the country on April 15 people are have Tea Parties to protest the over taxation and size of our Federal Government. Here is were you can go on facebook to see if there is one in your area. In North Carolina there is one in Raleigh, Asheville, and Fayetteville. Please go and show your Federal Government that we are not going to put up with this anymore.

Take Our Republic Back
The politicians in Washington have taken our Republic, turned it in to a Democracy, and are now turning it into Socialism. I the last 3 months our Socialistic government has spent around 2 trillion to bail out bad companies or in the name of economic recovery. This is money we do not have! Before Obama as even been in office for 100 days he will have socialized medicine, nationalized Citi Group, spent another 1.5 trillion dollars, raised taxes on "The Rich", raised taxes on the poor and middle class also (although the Democrats would never admit that) and there is so much more.
Were does all of this stop. Soon we will not have a country left. It is time for the people that want to restore our republic "The Republic of These United States" to take it back by force. I believe that we are past the point of restoring this republic through the Democratic process.
I have heard people like Neal Boortz say that government only has the right to use force to accomplish its goals but I disagree. The founding fathers of this Republic gave us the right to "Bear Arms" (the 2nd Amendment). This was not just put there so that we could protect our selves from people trying to rob or inflect harm on us. It was put here so that if our government got out of control and was taking away our natural borne rights protected under our Constitution that we could use this right to Bear Arms to take back our Republic and give back the Natural Borne Rights of the people of this Republic.
We need to pick up our weapons and remove these corrupt pollutions from office and reform our Republic so that it can continue to be strong and prosper into the next century.

Obama & The Stock Market
I love to look at these charts! Every time this man opens his mouth or signs one of his Government Growth Bills the Stock Market goes in to a free fall. What this says to me is that this man is going to destroy this country while the stupid masses cheer him on. You would think that people in this country were at least smart enough to see this correlation and were able to put two and two together. But I guess that the government has done a better job then I though in the Government school system!

Global Warming Scam - Some Thoughts
Does Global Warming exist? Of course it may in some areas on earth. Is it caused by humans? Of course humans play a role in what happens on earth. We are organisms made up of the same elements as everything else. There are many things that affect the earth’s climate. Most of the things that do affect earth’s climate have nothing to do with Humans.
The sun of course plays a big role in everything that happens on Earth. During certain periods the sun is more active. These periods may last 100 years, 1000 years, or 1 year. There are periods of time that the sun puts off a lot of solar flare that can affect the earth. The fact is we can not predict when the sun is going to be more active and it plays a big role in the climate on earth.
Gravity also plays a large part in earth’s climate. The path earth takes around the sun changes. There are periods of time that the earth will pass closer to the sun. The earth does not make a perfect circle around the sun and it is always changing. Gravity also affects the tilt of the earth in relation to the sun. The earth basically wobbles back and fourth. The moons gravitational pull also plays a part in earth’s climate and the moon is moves one inch further away every year. This will affect the climate of earth also. If you think about it gravity plays a big role in earths Climate.
Now think about Magnetism. What role does Magnetism play in earth’s climate? I believe that it plays another big role in it. Of cause I can not prove it but on one can prove it or not prove it definitely. Right now Earths magnetic field has been getting weaker. I believe this is because it is getting ready to reverse so that the north will be come the south and the south will be come the north. This as happened many times in the past and will happen again. There are many other ways Magnetism may affect earth’s climate that I and everyone else might not understand.
People are arrogant to think that they can destroy the earth. We do have the ability to cause the collapse of our civilization but the earth will continue to support live and thrive. There are many past societies that have collapsed because of the way the treated there environment. Humans do not know history. They do not remember what the weather was like 2 years ago much less 500 to a 1000 years ago. If people studied history and looked at the research of Archeologist, Paleontologist, and Geologist they would see that climate is always changing and that it has made more drastic changes in a much shorter period of time in the past.
I do think that at some time in the future something will cause our civilization to collapse and a lot of people will die. No one knows if it will be because of something that we do to the environment or something like disease. I believe the world is over populated and sooner or later something will give.
There are even more things that can cause climate change. Volcanoes, tectonic plates shifting, the currents in the oceans changing and there are many other things.

Park Ranger
Well I was out for a walk today with my dog in Umstead park. Today was cold and with a little rain so there were not many people in the park. So I took my dog off of is leash so he could run around and have some fun. Well along comes mister Park Ranger (government) to harass the people of the park. Well he gave me a warning ticket for have my dog off of his leash. So I got in to an argument with him of course.
He asked my I was so upset. I told him it was because this is nothing but another tax on the people. He told me it was not and told me it was because some people are scared of dogs. Well isn't that just nice. Someone is scared of a dog or something else but don't worry the government is here to take care of you and make sure nothing will never scare you. So I told him that is nothing but the "Wussification of America" and that we should just baby everyone because they are scared of something. I also told him that if someone is so scared of dogs then they can go somewere dogs will not be and leave everyone else alone.
His next reason was what if I loose my dog then they will have to find it and they do not have the man power to do it. Why in the Fucking Hell is it his problem "aka the GOVERNMENTS" if I loose my dog in the park. I do not need his help looking for my dam dog if I loose him nor do I intend on calling his worthless ass. I do not need the worthless government agents to help me in any way at all. Stay Out Of My Life.....
His last reason was that when he started working at the park there were dogs running loose all over the park and we can not have wild dogs running around the park. If we catch your dog we will have to put him to sleep. Well again that is my problem not yours and just so you know dogs came from the wild just like people.
Basically all this is government wanting complete control over every aspect of every ones life, another way to Wussify this country, and another way tax the people.
You can not go anywhere or do anything with out government up your ass trying to control you and tax you.

Bad Words
I was looking through some of my sister Shannon's blogs the other day and she wrote about how one day Ashley (my brother in law) said "Dammit" causing one of her girls to starting saying it over and over again. Well my question is why is "Dammit" a Bad Word?? The definition of "Dammit" from Dictionary.com is: Used to express anger, irritation, contempt, or disappointment. So why is it a bad word? Is it because it is negative? Are any words that express any kind of negative emotion bad words? I realize that people do use words like "Bitch" in a negative way when there true definition is not negative. I mean come on people "dammit" is not a bad word. Before long people will not be able to show any kind of anger with out any word that is said being a bad work. We are nothing but a country or society full of wussies. And Shannon I have bad news for you by the time your kids get to about 3rd or 4th grade they are going to have heard about every word you consider bad and when they get to be teenagers you will probably be hearing them a lot from your girls.

Humans & Nature
I have a really have a hard time understanding why so many people insist on separating Humans and Nature. For example when ever there is a forest fire and they start asking if it was caused by Nature or Humans. I just want to ring there neck and tell them if a Human starts the fire then it is Natural. I say this because we are part of this earth. We are made up of the very same things that every thing else on earth is made of. We are made of Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, etc. And on the sub-atomic level Humans and everything else on the planet are made up of Protons, Neutrons, and Electrons...
Then you have all of these people constantly talking about different spices going extinct. If humans cause a spices to go extinct then it was Natural and time for that spices to become extinct. You also have to look at the other side of the coin that if humans keep a spices from going extinct then it was not time for that spices to go and it was natural for them to stay.
I am just tired of hearing people separate Humans from Nature like they are two different things when they are not. We are the Earth, the Universe, the Solar System, etc. Just remember that everything is made up of the same thing at the very basic lever and that is "ENERGY"!!!!!!!
